Powerhouse museum have asked me to show my film at their Hip Hop weekend on the 26-27th of June. They interviewed me about my films.
Here’s more about their Hip Hop weekend: Experience what made hip hop great in the 80s and still a vibrant culture today. Take hip hop dance lessons with ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ choreographer Tiana Canterbury; see live performances from the All Conscious Crew (including Bboy 2ezy); and hear legendary 80s rapper Munki Muk.
Also during the weekend, LC Beats’ claymation films, including ‘Kaos in King St’, will be screening in the Kings Cinema. Here’s a short video about his films…

NSW Beatbox Championships
by Lc Beats on Jun.03, 2010, under Lc Beats beatbox video, Video, press exposure
On Sunday 18th April I entered the NSW Beatbox Championships. As promotion several beatboxers were asked to meet for a photoshoot. When I got to the location it was only me and another beatboxer called LemonCheese. We had a quick beatbox together.
mX took a photograph of us jumping towards the camera. This was the second time being in mX magazine.

The event was held at Fairfield showground, not an area I know well. The competition was judged by Joel Turner & Hopey.
There were a series of stages in which you had to pass to get through to the next round.
The first stage was a 1 minute solo round.
Backing an MC round, where we had to beatbox for a rapper. I brought along my mate Mc Texta.
I made it though to the quarter finals I had to verse Pneumatic.
In the semi finals I lost to Genesis. I was pretty pissed off. He had the crowd on his side but did to many covers and singing.
He ended up winning the competition.
