Last night was our final shoot so filming is officially complete! …well… apart from a couple of little pickups Fergus and I must go and get at some point. Everything went so well, the acting was amazing, the crew were fantastic and I think we did extremely well. I can not wait to start editing!

Props, props, wardrobe, props, wardrobe and more props….
Yesterday fergus, Taylor and I went to all the locations, got all the location agreements signed, and discussed shots (which Fergus and I had previously looked at roughly) but going over them again at the locations was great. We spent the whole day running around and then went back to one of the locations (my parent’s house) and Taylor worked on the schedule - much easier for her now that Fergus and I could give her a shooting time frame for each day. And Fergus and I worked on the shot list.
Productivity feels good 
First rehearsal was great! We didn’t have as much time as I would have liked, but we spent most of the time on one scene, and it was so exciting to see the actors change and get better. After watching the footage I have realised however, that how I wrote it (as in, how I thought it should be read when I wrote it) is actually not right for one of the actors and maybe not even right for the character or script. It was a wonderful epiphany because now I can’t wait to go over that scene with actors again, as I’m certain the slightly different approach will make it work wonderfully!
Not that they’re not wonderful already!
This is a mockup poster/DVD cover for my film. These obviously aren’t my actors but this it the actual hallway in one the most pivotal scenes, so I thought it would be the perfect setting. This is really rough but just playing at the moment
Looking forward to rehearsal with my actors next Monday. Note to self: must remember to book out a studio.

Designing Worlds class task and one of the few times using photoshop has actually been a remotely pleasant experience.
Taylor and I have been auditioning over the last few weeks, and the other day we had our favorite male and female come in for an audition together. They were both fabulous, so we have now officially cast our James and Elinor. I can’t wait to start rehearsals!
