What’s the “deal” with Larry David?

August 31st, 2009

Syndication and DVD releases of Seinfeld alone have earned David an estimated US$250 million.[20] He was nominated for an Emmy award 19 times for Seinfeld, winning twice—once for best comedy and once for writing.

The HBO cable television channel aired David’s 1-hour special, Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, on October 17, 1999.[22] This was followed by Curb Your Enthusiasm, a television series on HBO that aired its first episode on October 15, 2000.

Sexual Design Diary (Inspired by HR Giger)

May 25th, 2009

The body is sacred. It is a temple and should be worshipped…..

So, what happens when an alien entity penetrates the delicate ecostystem of man?

I have always loved when people question this theme. In particular David Croneberg, director of ‘The Fly’, ‘Naked Lunch’, ‘Crash’, ‘History of Violence’. These movies deal with sexual and physical invasion. Would you be less human if a creature entered your body?  Would you still be considered whole if you were raped?nakedlunesquire

Wow. Check this HR Giger artwork out. So sexual and alien and organic and mechanical. Such an interesting mind. hr-giger-7

PHOTOS (design diary)

May 20th, 2009

As you can see, I went around my home and put a brick on or near all the filthy animals i could see.

I like the texture of the brick juxtaposed with the beasts, who all don’t really want to be near it.

It represents technology vs nature and the eternal struggle between the two.

Playing God

May 19th, 2009

“Designing Worlds” is a pretty awesome cycle so far. I sometime wonder if i was god, how i would design the world? Probably very similiar but with less David Williamson plays.

I chose “Funny Games” (with Jason Biggs) to analyse the design choice in a movie. If you haven’t seen ‘Funny Games’ you really need to. It’s about the two crazy Juvenile rich kids slaughtering this rich upper class family for no apparent reason. It’s Super Post Modern and the acting is featch (german/austrian version)

Vikings are awesome

May 3rd, 2009

Before I begin, i’ll just say I have never “blogged” before. It never made sense to me. In my opinion a journal (which a blog presumably is) was a private conversation between your many selfs. A sort of internal exploration of the anus without chance of humiliation. Well that aint the blog case. No sireeeeeee.

There is nothing wrong with showing off. Nothing at all. Especially in this day and age. You have to!  Get noticed! Get out there! Be somebody! Otherwise your going to be an ‘aspiring’ filmmaker/writer for the rest of your life.

My problem with blogging is,  most people’s thoughts should be kept private as they offer nothing to the people reading. It’s also a little insulting (in my opinion) to professional writers and journalists that every Tom ,Dick and Harry flood the internet with their pointless musings.

This applies to my blog as well.

Wow. That was fun. I take everything back. Blogging is awesome!

Ok, here is a little about me:

Writing is Jasper Marlow’s passion. In 2006 he completed a Media and Communication Journalism course, which taught him to investigate, research, write, edit and publish news stories in all forms of media. In 2008 he studied for a Diploma in Audio Engineering at SAE College, Sydney, giving him numerous skills in post-production work. Until recently, he also co-hosted a weekly programme on 88.9FM Koori Community Radio. He is currently studying at AFTRS (the Australian Film and Television School) in Moore Park, Sydney.

Just because all the kids these days are showing off. I’ll post a link to a website that has published and my plays up for sale:
